Thanks for your good counsel about the margarita,Ann. I would go bonkers if I had to go to many church meetings but for you it is not a choice but part of your job description. So many people are so judgmental about so many things and most don't like change. You are outspoken and I appreciate that about you. I might not always agree with you, but I respect your right to express your opinion. In a church meeting, however, the others have to ultimately surrender to authority. That's the way religion works.

Just on the computer for a short while. I may go wander for a while.

Yay! She posted! :-)

And, given the 10 years I've known you, I don't think I've ever said this to you before. But Ann, dear one, when it comes to your fear in #7, it is just wrong wrong WRONG. You are NO poseur. You are FAR from shallow.

Now, I will say that we can all point to places where we haven't deepened ourselves - but then, our friends will be quite happy to point out the places in us that are very, very deep indeed. For now, I will just point to the deep self-knowledge that you revealed in #3, #8, and especially in #4 above.

You have long been an inspiration to me, from when I first encountered you when you were in seminary, and my kids were toddlers who asked God to help them use the potty in their bedtime prayers.

Peace be with you!
